We're a teacher-led charity helping young people to become active, democratic citizens
We believe that every pupil should build a broad range of key skills around oracy, confidence and leadership while they're at school. Used by 360 schools across the world, the Smart School Council model is a new and innovative approach to participation.

Asher and Greg started the charity to help more young people develop the skills to become active, democratic citizens. They thought school councils were great, but often only reach a small group of students. If they teach useful skills, why shouldn't they include everyone?
They developed the Smart School Council Model to give schools an simple, realistic and powerful way to engage all.
